Emperor penguins according to Wagner
In my time in Antarctica, I studied multiple things, including emperor penguins. One day, while conducting research on these little creatures, one of them approached me. As part of my agreement to study here in Antarctica, I agree to not touch any animals. Emperor penguins stand at 39 inches on average and weigh between 49 and 99 pounds! These brilliant animals can dive up to 1,755 ft and hold their breath up to 20 minutes! These animals can swim at speeds of between 3 and 5 miles per hour. If they aren't already cute enough, these guys huddle together to keep warm. Apart from all of that, how do they help us? Emperor penguins do multiple different things to help us. They are a vital point in the food chain for the animals that live in Antarctica; they are also our indicator of whether our waters are healthy and whether Antarctica is healthy. The penguins thank you for caring about our planet!
